RHCHC Union Updates
Updated on May 5, 2026
We’re committed to reaching a fair agreement with Teamsters Local 90- one that supports the safe, high-quality care our patients and community depend on, and provides our team members with competitive wages, benefits, and a positive work environment.
Welcome!
Contract negotiations between River Hills Community Health Center and Teamsters Local 90 will begin on May 20–21, 2026. We’ve created this site as a resource to share timely, factual information about negotiations on behalf of the 46 team members in the certified bargaining unit.
The other 143 RHCHC team members are not represented by the Teamsters and are not part of this bargaining process.
The Negotiations Process

Preparation
Each side assembles its team, reviews current terms, and identifies priorities.

Initial Proposals
Written proposals are exchanged. These are points for discussion, not finished agreements.

Negotiation
Sessions continue with counter-proposals; agreed items are tentatively set aside.

Tentative Agreement
When all provisions are agreed, the full document becomes a tentative contract.

Ratification?
Bargaining-unit members may choose to ratify the terms of the tentative agreement. If not ratified, the Teamsters may return to the bargaining table and/or call for a strike authorization vote.
Negotiations Schedule
June 10th-11th- Session 1 and Session 2

We respect every team member's right to choose for or against union representation. However, we suggest getting fully informed. In addition to the union information provided below, you have a unique opportunity to “Wait and See.” Can the Teamsters fulfill their campaign promises to those employees at the 201 Market location in the collective bargaining process?
